Great Tool for Promoting Webinars!

If you have an online presence for your business, then you’ve undoubtedly heard about using webinars to build your list and to sell your products.

In the past, I’ve always taught my students that one of their first goals in their business is to add 500 to 1,000 subscribers to their list in less than 30 days.

The way that I had them accomplish this goal was to reach out to joint venture partners who already had lists and get them to promote free webinars through an affiliate link.

While this is a great strategy that can easily accomplish the goal (add 500 to 1,000 subscribers in less than 30 days) from just 2 to 4 webinars, my students always struggled with actually doing this.  They had tons of excuses such as:

*  I don’t have anything to offer a JV Partner
*  I’m just a newbie and no one would want to JV with me
*  I’m too afraid to talk to 100 people on a webinar
*  and on, and on the excuses went!

Recently, I came up with an alternative way for them to accomplish the same goal…

… Create an event on Facebook and invite all your Facebook friends and fans to it
… Create an event on Google+ and invite all your circles and gmail contacts to it

Even if you only have a few hundred friends on Facebook and a few hundred people on Google+ circles, you can easily get 500+ new subscribers from doing just a few free webinars!

In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing many examples of DU Bachelor Students who are doing free webinars and promoting them on Facebook and Google+.

You can learn a TON about doing your own webinars by simply paying attention to the webinars that my students are doing!

The first of them takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, January 23rd at 1pm eastern.  The topic is:

“Caregiving With Heart – Going from ‘Barely Surviving’ to ‘Thriving’”

I’ll be hosting this webinar with DU Bachelor Student, Dr. Ina Gilmore.  You’ll find the Facebook event for the webinar at:

The Google+ Event is located at:

Make sure that you say “YES, I’m going!” on both Facebook and Google+ to help Dr. Ina get the word out about the webinar!  (I’m sure she’ll do the same for you when you invite her to YOUR webinar!)

What will you get out of this free webinar?  Well, let me ask you a question…

… Are you a caregiver or know one dragging through each day?

Caregiving can be the best thing you ever do for another.  It can also be the hardest thing you’ll ever do.

And if you think it will not affect you, consider this…

Former First Lady Rosalyn carter says there are only four kinds of people in the world -

1) Those who are caregivers,

2) Those who have been caregivers,

3) Those who will be caregivers,

4) And those who will need caregivers.

As someone who has needed caregivers before my miracle transformation, I know how important they are. I would not be here if it were not for my caregivers, including my husband ,Bill.

I also know the toll caregiving can take on them and their families.

Whether you are a caregiver, think you will be one or know a caregiver, you need to know how to juggle caregiving with your life.

Long distance caregivers and caregiving in the same room may seem different, but caregiving can quickly become demanding.  And, it can lead to physical and emotional exhaustion, financial stress and social isolation.

That’s why I’m delighted to host this important webinar on Wednesday, January 23rd at 1PM EST.

I’ll be interviewing one of my students, Dr. Ina Gilmore.  Dr. Ina is known online as “The Knitting Dr.”  She knows caregiving, having been “in the trenches” as both a former physician and as a family caregiver.

She nearly lost her health while caring for her parent.  She understands the sacrifices caregivers and their families make, and has simple steps to help caregivers move from dragging themselves through each day… into thriving.

You need this information, and it won’t cost you a dime.

Join us to see how abundance CAN be a part of caregiving!

I hope you’ll join us for this webinar so you can learn more about how to do webinars to build your list as well!
